A New Project I’m Excited About: Meet Fasting.Center

If you’ve been following Practical Health for a while, you know I’m obsessed with data, health experiments, and figuring out what actually works in real life. Well… I finally pulled all my fasting research, Dexa numbers, glucose curves, ketone charts, and personal fast diaries into one place.

I built a new website: www.fasting.center

It’s the place where I put everything I’ve learned from multiple 7-day and 9-day water fasts, almost a hundred CGM experiments, and years of tracking my own health. If you ever wanted a clean, structured, science-backed hub for fasting - this is it.

Why did I build it?

Because fasting deserves its own home. On Practical Health I cover sauna, sleep, workouts, and my kids climbing on me during filming. So fasting needed a focused spot where people can go deep without being distracted by a toddler screaming because I didn’t let him eat the tripod.

Here’s what you’ll find on Fasting.Center:

Fasting.Center - Results page

  • A full fasting framework with clear explanations of what happens in the body

  • Research behind 44 fasting benefits, categorized by evidence strength

  • My complete fasting data: Dexa scans, glucose and ketones, weight changes, HRV, sleep, bloodwork, and more

  • Tools, checklists, trackers, and practical how-tos

  • Community stories and real fasting results from others

  • Future updates, experiments, and long-form content

Fasting.Center - Benefits page

If you’re curious about the science behind fasting and want to understand why it works, the site breaks everything down in a structured, evidence-based way. No hype, no magic claims, just clean summaries backed by actual research.

If you’re starting your fasting journey and want clarity instead of guesswork, you’ll find step-by-step explanations, real examples, and simple visuals. It’s designed to help beginners avoid the usual confusion and get confident fast.

If you’re someone who likes practical tools more than long theories, there are checklists, logs, and downloadable resources to make fasting easier and more predictable. Think of it as your fasting toolbox, but without the duct tape and broken screws.

Fasting.Center - Resources and Tools page

If you enjoy seeing how real people fast and what results they get, you’ll find community stories and shared experiences. Nothing inspires progress like real examples from real humans, not fitness models with 2 percent body fat.

And if you're a data lover who enjoys charts as much as I do, the entire personal data section is for you. Dexa changes, glucose dips, ketone climbs, HRV shifts, weight curves, blood test results - everything is laid out clearly so you can follow the journey from day one to day nine and beyond.

I’ll keep posting regular content here on Practical Health - sauna, sleep, blood sugar tips, and the usual chaos featuring my kids - but all deep fasting content is moving to the new website.

If you want to support the new project, take a look: www.fasting.center

Thank you for being here! And yes, I promise the next post will not include numbers like ā€œApoB dropped from 136 to 87,ā€ but I can’t guarantee it 😊
